This beautiful moment you captured so well is something that sadly we couldn’t see then but thanks to you we can see it in all its glory now.
Thank you so much for this brilliant and delicate work.
This is a really beautiful gift, thank you! You have such a great touch for drawing shadows and light, and an enviable talent of drawing a good likeness. And it always makes me so happy to see someone working in a traditional art medium go forward and create new scenes for us to adore. It’s always such a gamble – will this work, or do I have to start it all over again? Hats off to that, from someone who happily paints over digital photos to bypass those problems. I hope you’ll show us lots and lots of new scenes in the future!
I have to add that the title gives me be a bit of a death fic (death art? oh god no, let’s not make that a genre) vibe, but that might also be because of other fandom associations in my brain, namely Lewis kissing Morse goodbye exactly like that.
Almost missed this (my checking the calendar has been a bit erratic lately…) and so glad I came across this. OMG! So well drawn, so much love and tenderness in that kiss. Thanks for this touching gift!
Wow, beautiful! I’m so happy you let Hutch touch Starsky during one of their direst moments. You did a fantastic job with Starsky’s face–I especially love his eye and eyebrow–but there’s something quite striking about Hutch. He’s pale and faded except for the shadows around his eyes, which even in this tender moment makes him look appropriately haunted, as if Starsky’s mortal injury has made Starsky more real and Hutch less real. I don’t know, but it’s angsty and I love it.
WOW.
I love it! Those lashes, that gentle kiss, the shading!
Just wow!
Beautiful and evocative, RLJ. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Hee Hee, I knew you’d like it Mat! The lashes were very fun to do,I’m glad you enjoyed them 🙂
Wow, what a stong image.
Well done! You are so talented!
I was inspired by the missing kiss scene from the original script and just needed to get it down. Glad you liked it 🙂

Thank you so much for this brilliant and delicate work.
I cant believe we were robbed of this moment so it was the least I could do by attempting to recreate it
Beautiful drawing! You’re so talented!
THANK YOU 🙂

Beautiful!? Aw thank you so much
Oh man, yeah this was my sixth attempt and the deadline was hurtling towards me, so I took the plunge and sent it
It really was a challenge but everyone’s kind words makes it all worthwhile.
Deathfic…. well, it’s all up to you what you interpret it as…
This perfectly depicts that moment we all longed for, Redlongjohns. THANK YOU!
I really wish they filmed it but then this was pretty fun to draw
Beautiful. So evocative!
Thank you! That’s what Inwas aiming for 😀
This is so beautiful! I echo what everyone else wrote. Thank you for this lovely gift! KUDOS
Thank you, I’m overwhelmed by the kind words, I was pretty scared to share it
This is so well done. You’re a talented person and it shows in this art. Thank you!
Thank you, I hope to do more SH art in the future
Beautiful! I had forgotten about that scene in the script. Such a shame they never filmed it but we’re lucky to be able to see it here. Thank you.
I would give anything to see an actual filmed scene, so happy you enjoyed my attempt

Eee, I’m chuffed you enjoyed this gift, the calendar has been full of so many little Joy’s!
That is beautiful! You did a spectacular job! Thanks for the gift.

What a gorgeous, heart-tugging image! Perfectly feeds into my head canon, now 😉 Thank you!
Amazing. Very strong image. Tugs at the heart. Thank you.
Sniff! You’ve nearly made me cry with a single drawing. Beautiful artistry.
