Fantastic! “Annie” is super special to me, I did the German voice for one of the orphans back in the early 80’s. Loved Annie and her friends ever since. Now in combination with our boys I am over the moon!

Thanks, Dawn! I’m a fan of musicals myself. I saw it live when it first started touring. That clip comes from ‘Losing Streak’ which I had watched not long before making the vid so it was fresh in my mind. It’s fun to find something off the wall like that and make it work. So glad you liked it!

Great vid and great choice. I think I saw Annie the movie one hundred years ago (not a musical lover I‘m afraid) and I don’t know the song but it works perfectly here. Well done. And yes please, make more vids!
Love the vid! I used to sing all the songs from Annie when I was a kid and hadn’t heard this one in years. Each of the clips was perfect for the lyrics!
I had no idea what the song was going to be (not familiar with the songs from “Annie” at all), so you took me by surprise there, and damn it was a delightful surprise! Laughed all the way. Brilliant choices of clips and great editing, too!
I was grinning through this entire vid! There were so many perfect clip-to-lyric matches that if I listed all the ones I especially liked this comment would be two pages long, but my favorites were the “Instead of kisses / we get kicked” with the giant guy kissing Starsky, and then Starsky’s little kick to Hutch’s rump. Oh, and right after that, you timed Starsky hitting the mat to a drumbeat perfectly! And I liked the soundbite you put at the beginning; it set the tone well!

I also just finished watching the blond in his performance as a wildlife warden in Flipper and couldn’t get that stupid theme song out of my head. Thank you for replacing it with this one: it comes with a lot more mental pictures I can fall back on. ?
