Awesome, Kat! A great song for 2 men who could die any time. Yet the upbeat music is celebratory because they’re still alive. ‘One less day from dying young.’ Lyrics and clips are perfect. I especially like the ‘hand on the shoulder’. Well done!
omg I love this! The clips are soooo perfect for the lyrics, especially “I see the light go past my shoulder” and Hutch walks past Starsky (from the tag of Starsky vs Hutch).
“I’m not afraid of getting older; I’m one less day from dying young” is so poignant and bittersweet, it brought tears to my eyes every time it played. Seriously! But then again, I cry at Subaru commercials. ?
I love Rob Thomas and have never heard this one before! How appropriate and a wonderful Hutch-centered vid. Never noticed how long Starsky had his hand on Hutch’s shoulder in the “Little Girl Lost” porch scene. Vids make me notice things I’ve never seen before. Nice job, Kat!
Oh, cool. I love this song. I can put it on repeat. LOL! Vids are a good way to see things you might miss in a quick scene. Thanks so much for the wonderful comment.
Oh, Kat! What an absolutely fabulous vid ❤ The song conveys the perfect sentiment for the boys, and lots of Hutch eye candy to boot! Thank you so much xoxo
Great song choice! I especially liked Starsky patting Hutch’s shoulder for the first iteration of I see the light go past my shoulder, and all of the clips you chose for And I’ve seen my friends fall away before their time / And I’ve been afraid that I may follow in their light / So I drink and love and whisper all the things I know are right / Someday, I will leave this world, but maybe not tonight, especially the way you started with longer clips and then went fast for drink and love and whisper. Very effective!
Ohhhh…I like this song and the clips you used! Thank you for this wonderful Solstice gift!
You’re welcome! Glad you liked it.

Thanks, CE! Yes, it’s not a morbid song but a reminder to live each day. I appreciate your comment!
Great job, Kat! I loved the song and the lyrics fit them perfectly! Thank you!
Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed it!
Nice vid! The song and your clips blended just right. Thanks for your gift.
You’re welcome! Thank you for letting me know. I appreciate that.
What a perfect song for our guys! It and the clips went together so well. Thank you for doing all that work and giving us the reward, kat-byrd!
My pleasure. I really liked making this one and the song is great. Thank you!
Loved this. Very upbeat and you did a fantastic job of blending words and clips together!
Thanks so much. The song spoke to me the second I heard it.

LOL! I find it a uplifting song, and given their occupation being alive and loving is how I see them. Thank you!

Thanks Kat-Byrd. I loved the music behind the vid. Beautifully choreographed.

A Rob Thomas song I didn’t know. Works perfectly for Hutch (and Starsky). Great vid.
